Don’t riot! Be happy! Cavort with inflatable sluts!

Meanwhile, in Russia…

The Ninth Annual Bubble Baba Challenge — in which 800 contestants ride inflatable sex dolls down the Vuoksa river rapids, about 50 miles from St. Petersburg – has taken place .

The event, which lasts no more than three minutes, operates under the motto ‘A Rubber Babe is more than just a Vehicle’. It exudes a light-hearted and raunchy atmosphere, with participants naming their props things like ‘Unstoppable Chick’ and ‘Floating Piggy’. While most of the props are women-shaped inflatable dolls – after all, the event is sponsored by a sex shop that donates them – large inflatable animals and giant penises are also permitted. The event organiser conceived of the occasion as “a joke at a party where the men got drunk and the women didn’t show up”. Saying that, men and women both compete, and there is a separate heat for women-only races. The only pre-requisites for taking place are that you are over the age of 16, are a decent swimmer, and are sober (all participants are tested before the race).
